As a child growing up in New York, Lori Gordon's family would drive south to Florida each year. St.

Augustine was always their first stop-a mini-vacation before continuing on to Miami, where her

parents had honeymooned. "Because St. Augustine sits right at the top of the state, it became our

traditional entry point into Florida," Lori recalls. "I still have home movies from the '70s of us strolling

these brick-lined streets-it's surreal to be creating a life here now."

That sense of nostalgia fuels every project Lori and her husband, Steve, take on. Yet their path to

becoming trusted builders was forged through a harder lesson. Years ago, they bought a South

Florida home constructed with unlicensed tradesmen-resulting in daily frustrations and sky-high

repair bills. "We weren't the only family suffering," Lori says. "It lit a fire in us to prove that building

Fast-forward to December 2023: the Gordons arrived in St. Augustine, purchased a Crescent Beach

home steps from the shoreline, and dove head-first into their first true oceanfront renovation on

South Ponte Vedra Boulevard. "We'd worked near the water before, but never directly on it," Steve

explains. "That project changed everything."

With that success behind them, Lori and Steve secured three side-by-side lots beach-side on A1A

and created *the triplets*: three newly completed two-story coastal homes designed for effortless

family living. Each features a ground-floor guest suite with its own living area, kitchenette, and

ensuite-ideal for in-laws, visitors, or rental flexibility. Upstairs, a full chef's kitchen, an expansive

While *the triplets* rose, the Gordons also transformed a striking 4,800-square-foot residence off
