What were the goals of the project? 

My clients wanted to freshen the look of the home they built 20 years ago by redesigning and redecorating. The rooms included the family room, sitting room, dining room, home office, and primary bedroom. The home lacked the sophistication and flow they sought, and they didn't know how to start the creative process.

 

How do you go about planning and executing? 

As with all of my projects, I worked closely with my clients to understand how they use their rooms and embarked on the journey of finding a look and aesthetic that suits them. We looked at both online images and my portfolio of work and hit the pavement by shopping at local showrooms.

 

What did you love about this? 

My favorite part of this project was my clients, Jon and Jen. I loved their enthusiasm and openness to my ideas. We worked extremely well together, which is crucial to the success of any design project. They had great vision and trusted my design process.
