Double Threat
Luke Tenn is making moves this Fall.

Luke Tenn is a 16-year-old student-athlete. He finished his sophomore year at Bedford High School.
Luke and his family moved to Bedford in 2013. Throughout elementary and middle school, he enjoyed participating on local sports teams, including soccer, lacrosse, hockey, and basketball. However, Luke's favorite sport has always been football, and he joined the local AYF team when he was eight years old. He was a part of two AYF championship teams while he was in the league. Luke is incredibly passionate about football and easily remembers the plays and routes for every position. He truly loves the sport.
As a freshman at Bedford High School, Luke played on the offensive and defensive line for the Bedford Bulldogs. He was named Defensive Player of the Year on the reserve team. When the regular season ended, Luke participated on the varsity football scout team, where he helped the Bulldogs prepare to win the NHIAA state football championship in 2022. This past year, Luke made an impact as a defensive tackle and contributed to the football team's success, winning back-to-back NH state championships two years in a row!
Luke also participated in the spring track and field season during his freshman and sophomore years. He earned a varsity letter in both years and set a freshman high school discus record with a throw of 103.1 feet.
Since starting high school, Luke has set goals and has dedicated himself to becoming stronger with more consistent and rigorous workouts. Through weightlifting and training, Luke achieved a personal record of lifting over 1000 pounds with three combined lifts - bench press, squat, and deadlift - and he accomplished this feat at age 15!
As an athlete, Luke is self-motivated and has grit, which keeps him focused. He has been supported throughout the years by his coaches, trainer Jesse Payne at Elite Fitness, and mom and sister Anna. However, his biggest supporter has always been his Dad, who drove him to every practice, attended every game, spent countless hours with him at the gym, and encouraged him always to do his best and work hard.
Luke is an excellent student and knows that academics always come first. He is an honor student and has earned an impressive GPA. Balancing academics and sports in high school is a challenging accomplishment!
Most importantly, Luke is kind-hearted. He truly cares for his family and friends and is considerate and friendly to everyone he meets. He and his sister are best friends, and he will miss her when she moves to Boston University to study at the Questrom School of Business in September.
This fall, Luke will be attending Phillips Academy Andover. He is anticipated to be a two-sport high–impact athlete for varsity football and the track and field team. Although he will miss his friends and teammates in Bedford, he is very excited about this incredible opportunity!
