Land AS-39, as a Mass Communication Specialist, taking photos and creating media for various foreign diplomats, visitors, and ships.
During his time on the Land, Michael deployed to destinations such as Rota, Spain, Portugal, Montenegro, and the Horn of Africa, taking photographs and creating memorabilia for crew and civilians to remember their stay. His last active duty station was on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, working in the Public Affairs office. His duties and responsibilities were photographs and articles for print and online that included but were not limited to Sailors returning from overseas duty stations in the Middle East.
