Our mission is to nurture children and young adults by fostering values of character, leadership, scholarship, and sportsmanship inspired by the life and legacy of Lauren Souza.

Lauren was a deeply dedicated student-athlete whose excellence was reflected in both her academic and athletic achievements. She excelled as a key member of the varsity volleyball and lacrosse teams, while simultaneously achieving the highest academic ranking in her high school class and serving as Vice President of the National Honor Society. Beyond her accomplishments, Lauren had a rare gift for making those around her believe in themselves, encouraging others to see what was possible and inspiring confidence that they could achieve anything. Known for her generosity and willingness to help, she consistently supported her peers with kindness, integrity, and leadership. Her example and spirit of empowerment are the foundation of our work.

To advance this mission, we seek partnerships with community members and local businesses willing to share resources that support youth development. This includes individuals who can offer career advice and mentorship, businesses that can provide learning experiences or professional exposure, and organizations interested in collaborating on educational and leadership initiatives.

The Foundation serves as both a facilitator, connecting young people with meaningful opportunities, and a grantmaker, providing financial support to help remove barriers to participation. Through sponsorships and community investment, we can expand access to education, personal growth, and real-world experiences that help young people discover their potential.
