Bowman Place Chairman

Paul F. Harrington

Paul Harrington, who is the Chairman of the Board at Bowman Place at Olde Bedford, is an experienced businessman and civic leader with many years of dedication to the Bedford community, Greater Manchester, and the New Hampshire scene.

He has worked extensively in the construction field, including serving the Diocese of Manchester as the Director Secretary for Real Estate, dedicated to the real estate management of the property of the Church. After retiring from the Diocese, he joined Sullivan Construction of Bedford, serving as the Director of Development. While living in Bedford, Paul served on the Planning Board and later the Zoning Board in Town.

During his career, Paul has also dedicated himself to his community and people in need, serving as a Board member of CASA, on the Board of Catholic Medical Center, and on the Manchester Fire Commission, of which he is now the Chairman.

In 2018, Paul joined the Board of Trustees for Bowman Place. His dedication to the goals of exceptional quality of care for the residents and service to the organization has supported the new community's dynamic and highly successful administration. He takes a personal interest and participates in many Bowman activities and visits often, talking with residents.

Currently, as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Bowman Place at Olde Bedford, he is contributing to the growth and activities of this organization, serving seniors in assisted living and those in memory care.

He raised his family in Bedford, and his children still reside there. Paul and his wife Debbie have "downsized" to a new home in Manchester, but he is still involved in projects in Bedford through Bowman Place and his work for Sullivan Construction. He is a congregation member and serves on the Parish Council at Saint Elizabeth Seton Church in Bedford.

In his spare time, Paul is dedicated to activities with his family – his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoys skiing, water skiing, and an annual fishing trip with his sons.
