July Nights Studio
A Photographer, a Mother, and a Wife
Hey, I’m Lindsay! I first picked up a DSLR camera back in 2009 as a Sophomore in high school. I was so naturally drawn to photography from the very beginning, and that desire to continue something that I was passionate about propelled me into attending and graduating from the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2015 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Photography and Printmaking.
Born and raised in New England, I grew up in a tiny little town in the middle of one of the most beautiful regions in central Maine. I now reside in Goffstown, and when I'm not out and about with my camera, I can be found spending time outdoors, reading a good historical fiction book, or spending quality time just hanging out with my husband, our two daughters, pup, and cats!
I started my photography business, July Nights Studio, in 2021 after I had my first daughter the previous summer (the inspiration behind my business name stems from her birthday in July, and I really appreciated my second daughter staying on brand and being born in July a few years later too haha!) I really wanted to get back into photography after taking a step back for a few years and I wanted to have something of my own that allowed for a creative outlet while still being able to have the ability to stay home with my daughter. Flash forward a few years later and I am truly honored by the countless families who I have gotten to work with and all of the couples who have entrusted me to document their wedding day!
As a family and wedding photographer, my advice to residents is to get in the photo! You will never regret having photos with your children or your spouse, and your family will treasure the photos for generations to come. If you need convincing, remember, you’re not doing it for you now, but for you in 20-30 years!
Lastly, my business wouldn’t be where it is today if I didn’t have the help and ever-present support of my husband, Jeremie (who is also a Greet sponsor; shout out BDP Group, we love you!!!) Being self-employed has its ups and downs, but I’ll never take the flexibility and time I spend with my family for granted.
To my clients, past and present: thank you for trusting me with your most special and irreplaceable moments.
