RJ Proulx and Alexandra Benson, classmates since their days at Peter Woodbury School, were each honored with the 2024–2025 Derryfield Coach’s Award, which recognizes one male and one female student for outstanding achievement in both athletics and academics.

Alexandra was a four-year varsity athlete in soccer, alpine skiing, and lacrosse. She served as a team captain in both her junior and senior years for soccer, and captained the alpine team as a senior.

RJ also competed at the varsity level in lacrosse for all four years, captaining the team this past season. He will continue his athletic career at Union College next year.

Congratulations to RJ and Alexandra on this well-earned honor! Their commitment, leadership, and excellence—both in the classroom and on the field—reflect the very best of our community’s values. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
