Dominic Juric

Balancing business, soccer, and service, this Bedford teen is building success through hard work and initiative.

Dominic Juric, a Bedford resident, is only 16 years old, yet he has already started his own business, gotten a job at a local establishment, become the soccer captain of the Bedford High School team, and even referees soccer games.

In his sophomore year of high school, Dom took a marketing class, where he completed a semester-long project based on a local detailing business. As part of the project, he and his partner represented the business at a small business exposition. The experience sparked an idea—why not start his own detailing business? Just eighteen days after the expo, the day after Christmas, Dom stepped outside and began detailing his parents’ car. Despite the cold, he was eager to get started.

Although it was his first time detailing a car on his own, Dom was happy with the results, saying he did “pretty decent.” He continued learning by watching videos and practicing whenever possible. While winter weather limited his hands-on opportunities, he used the time to expand his knowledge and refine his approach.

As the weather improved, Dom began promoting his services at just 15 years old. After landing one of his first clients and receiving positive feedback, his confidence grew. He began advertising more, gaining more clients and building momentum throughout the summer.

Despite early logistical challenges before obtaining his driver’s license, Dom successfully managed a growing schedule with support from his family, serving clients across New Hampshire.

As his business developed, Dom began focusing on expanding his reach through personal connections rather than online ads alone. He built a strong reputation in his community by delivering quality work and friendly service, and clients began sharing their experiences with friends, neighbors, and coworkers. This word-of-mouth approach helped Dom’s business grow steadily, with satisfied clients recommending him to others, creating a network of trust that spanned Bedford and beyond.

Dom serves a diverse range of clients across New Hampshire, providing quality detailing for everyone. While earning trust as a young entrepreneur took time, he is proud of the relationships he has built and the reputation he has developed, and he looks forward to growing his business further.

In addition to running his business, Dom works at the Bedford Village Inn (BVI), and he has enjoyed working there since he started. He credits the role with strengthening his communication skills and developing his ability to problem-solve in real-world situations.
Outside of work, Dom also maintains a strong commitment to soccer. He has been playing since the age of six, beginning with the Bedford Athletics Club (BAC) and developing his skills over the years. Known for his speed and agility, he has played multiple positions and currently enjoys playing as a striker.

Dom has been refereeing soccer games since he was 13 years old. He started by officiating games alongside his dad and brother, using those early experiences to build confidence and learn the basics. Over time, he took on more responsibility, moving up to higher-level games and tournaments while continuing to develop his confidence and decision-making skills on the field.

Over the years, Dom has formed lasting friendships with teammates from a variety of competitive teams, including FC Stars, Seacoast United, BAC, and others. Having played with them in league matches, tournaments, and local competitions, he built strong bonds on and off the field. Even as they’ve gone their separate ways in school and other soccer programs, these connections remain, and the group continues to come together each winter to play in an indoor league. Currently, Dom focuses on the Bedford High School team, continuing to apply his experience and leadership in a game he loves.

Looking ahead to his upcoming role as team captain, Dom is excited to help guide his teammates in giving back to the community. He looks forward to encouraging participation in volunteer efforts, including supporting local veterans, and finding meaningful ways for the team to make a positive impact together.

Dom attributes much of his success to a strong work ethic and an eagerness to learn. From the beginning, he has approached his detailing business with curiosity and determination, always looking for ways to improve. For Dom, challenges are not obstacles—they are chances to grow, problem-solve, and prove to himself what he is capable of. This mindset influences how he manages his time and responsibilities, allowing him to balance everything he has taken on while continuing to grow.

A rising senior, soccer captain, BVI employee, referee, and entrepreneur, Dominic balances a full schedule while staying focused on his goals. He takes pride in his work, values his community, and is excited to see what the future holds!
