Patrick’s Purpose Foundation 2026
Scholarship Application Is Now Available!
Honoring the legacy and character of Patrick Turner, this scholarship supports graduating seniors in good standing who plan to attend a trade school or community college. Patrick wished for more kindness and inclusivity in our schools and community, and those values remain at the heart of this application. Recipients will receive a one-time $2,000 award.
Requirements
- Graduating high school senior in good standing
- Must plan to attend a community college or trade school
- Deadline: Thursday, April 30 at 3:00 p.m.

Eligibility
- Be a current high school student in good standing.
- Display strong character, kindness, and inclusivity on campus and in the community.
- Applicants may self-nominate or be nominated by a teacher or staff member.
- If self-nominating: Write an essay (500 words or less) on the following prompt: Describe an act of kindness that was shown to you, or that you showed to someone else, during your high school years. How did this experience impact you? How do you think it affected the other person/persons involved?
- If self-nominating: Provide a brief description (250 words or less) of the school you will attend, what you plan to study, and your career aspirations.
- If nominated by a teacher or staff member: Write an essay (500 words or less) describing how the student has shown kindness and empathy on campus or in the community during high school, and how they have positively affected those around them. Please also attach a brief description of the student’s future education plans and career goals.
