Exclusive Greet Event at Joshua Creek Ranch: Fighting Human Trafficking

Fair Oaks Ranch residents, community members, and Greet business partners recently gathered at the stunning Joshua Creek Ranch in Boerne for an evening of connection, education, and purpose. This special event was part of N2 Gives, an initiative dedicated to raising awareness and providing education on the fight against human trafficking within our own community.

Greet Magazine, BeLocal NW & Hill Country, and Ransomed Life partnered to bring this impactful event to life.

Ransomed Life representative Susan Burkholder delivered a powerful and eye-opening presentation on the realities of human trafficking, sharing how individuals can remain vigilant and take steps to combat these devastating crimes. Many attendees admitted that one of the most shocking revelations of the evening was the fact that human trafficking is not just a distant problem—it occurs right here in our community.

Special guest Jeff Allovio, Deputy with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and retired FBI Agent, also addressed the crowd. As the founder of a Child Sexual Exploitation Task Force nearly 15 years ago, Allovio shared his experiences in the field and offered practical ways the public can help fight human trafficking.
