4th of July Guac Dogs!

Spice up your 4th with these Guac Dogs! Nothing says American summer on The Ranch like enjoying grilled hot dogs and festive picnics on the 4th of July. Emily Stroup is sharing her family recipe that adds a delicious twist and makes those hot dogs extra special for the holiday.
Guac Dogs:
  • 1 Package Hot Dogs 
  • 1 Package Hot Dog Buns 
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 Lime cut in in half
  • 1 Can Rotel tomatoes (as hot as you like it)
  • Cilantro
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Small onion
  • 1 Jalapeno
Pico de Gallo
  • Dice up tomato, onion and jalapeno to taste and set aside
Guac
  • Peel and mash the Avocados, add a squeeze of lime.
  • Add Rotel tomatoes to the Avocado and mix well.
  • Chop up Cilantro and add to taste.
  • Set aside
Cook the Hot Dogs on a grill, in the oven, or on the stove, however you like to make them. Open the buns and place them face down on a pan (or grill) and lightly toast them. Place Hot Dogs in buns and add a generous portion of Guac and top with Pico de Gallo.
