Meet The Seybold Family!

Brett and Shandria Seybold have built a life centered around family, friendship, and community. Since moving to Fair Oaks Ranch in 2018, they have embraced the area’s charm and warmth, although their ties to the San Antonio region span over 20 years.
Brett and Shandria’s story began in high school, where their paths first crossed—Shandria was a junior, and Brett a senior. From those early days, their connection grew, setting the foundation for a life they would later build together.
Brett’s academic journey took him from Kansas State University, where he majored in finance, to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he earned a master’s degree in the same field. Along the way, he achieved the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter. His dedication and expertise have led him to his role as Chief Financial Officer at USAA, a position that reflects his commitment to excellence and leadership. Brett is also on the boards for Haven for Hope and the FHLB of Dallas (Federal Home Loan Bank), and he was voted the San Antonio Business Journal 40 Under 40 Man of the Year in 2019. Maybe his biggest achievement of all is the privilege of helping coaching Rhyker with his pursuits in baseball and football.
Shandria’s path began in Kansas, where she attended Barton County Community College and Baker University, earning a degree in nursing. Her ambition and drive led her to Walden University, where she obtained a master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Today, she owns and operates BOLD Hydration Health and Wellness, a mobile IV hydration company, combining her passion for healthcare and entrepreneurship. Her business is a service that provides infusions that are customized to fit your specific needs and wellness goals.
The Seybolds are proud parents to two active and talented children. Rhyker, 12, is a sixth grader at Geneva School of Boerne. He channels his energy and enthusiasm into sports, playing baseball for Freight Train Baseball, football (both tackle and flag), and basketball. In his downtime, Rhyker enjoys hanging out with friends and playing games such as Monopoly and Risk.
Dagny, 10, is a fourth grader at Geneva School of Boerne. She shines in softball, playing for Texas Futures Softball, and expresses her creativity through dance at Lonestar Collective Dance and gymnastics at Empower Gymnastics Academy. In her free time, Dagny loves arts and crafts, turning everyday moments into opportunities for creativity.
The Seybold household is lively and full of love, with two cats, Kitty and Snowy, and a floppy-eared rabbit named Oreo. Oreo’s story is a cherished family memory—Dagny won him at a Daddy-Daughter Dance when she was in first grade, making him a special part of their lives.
When they’re not cheering on their kids at games or recitals, Brett and Shandria enjoy celebrating holidays and special occasions with friends and family. They frequent local favorites like Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club, where Shandria plays tennis, and love treating the kids to Parker’s Ice Cream. They’ve also embraced new additions to the area, such as the Fair Oaks Roost, which adds to the vibrant community.
Faith plays a significant role in the Seybolds’ lives. Before they even found their home in Fair Oaks Ranch, they discovered Cibolo Creek Community Church, where they were warmly welcomed and quickly became part of the congregation. This connection to the church has deepened their sense of belonging in the neighborhood.
For the Seybolds, Fair Oaks Ranch isn’t just a place to live—it’s a true community. They cherish the support and camaraderie that come from neighbors who care for one another. Whether participating in local events or simply enjoying the beauty of the area, Brett and Shandria are grateful for the friendships they’ve formed and the memories they’ve created in their corner of Texas. Together with their children, they look forward to continuing to grow and thrive in this close-knit community.
