Meet Dolce, a precious little 10-year-old Bichon Frise who has lived with Keith and Nancy Rhoden on The Ranch since she was just a baby. In Italian music, Dolce means “Sweet” and, since Nancy is a classical piano teacher, the name suits the little white fluffy pup perfectly.

Dolce loves snuggling up with Keith under their green and yellow blanket adorned with the logo of her favorite team, the Baylor Bears. She also enjoys spending time on the boat watching her family ski and swimming with them in the lake. Sleeping on her people’s clothes, which are strategically placed around the house for her benefit, is a highlight of her day along with eating healthy snacks such as blueberries, lettuce, gluten free crackers, and bananas (her favorite). She will do several tricks for her treats, such as dance, sit, spin, and others that she makes up as she goes along.

She is a fearless guardian of the homestead, tirelessly hunting the evil lizards that constantly try to invade her back yard while barking stern warnings to the 150-pound dog that lives on the other side of the backyard fence. She may sound tough upon first meeting, but Dolce has a truly sweet nature and will be your BFF once you pay the treat-tax upon entering her domain.
