Community, Connections, and Great Food Come Together at Farrar's Bistro

The welcoming entrance to Farrar's Bistro reflects the warm hospitality that has made it a favorite gathering place in the Felida community.

Greet Business Networking gathered once again this month at Farrar's Bistro in Felida, a neighborhood favorite that has become known for much more than exceptional food. Under the leadership of owner Emma Fraser, Farrar's has built a reputation as a business that genuinely invests in the community it serves.
Giving back is part of Farrar's identity. The restaurant proudly serves as a collection site for the Vancouver School District Foundation's annual School Supply Drive, helping local students begin the school year prepared for success. Throughout the year, Farrar's also hosts fundraising events for organizations including local Little League programs and Clark County Fire District 6's Fired Up for Girls Camp, which encourages young women to explore careers in the fire service. Their commitment to the community was recently recognized when Furry Friends Washington honored Farrar's as a Silver Sponsor for its ongoing support of animal welfare fundraising efforts.
There's no shortage of reasons to stop by Farrar's. Guests enjoy Taco Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays featuring half-price bottles of wine, Happy Hour offered twice daily, and live music every Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day on the spacious, dog-friendly patio. Farrar's also provides on-site and off-site catering for events ranging from business lunches to gatherings of up to 150 guests. An extensive gluten-free menu helps ensure everyone feels welcome.
This month's Greet Business Networking event brought together professionals from a wide variety of industries for an interactive networking exercise focused on discovering how their businesses complement one another. One of the largest groups represented businesses serving homeowners, highlighting the strength of local professionals who help families protect, maintain, and improve one of their greatest investments.
Participants included Evergreen Trust (Mobile Notary), Valliant Roofing, California Closets, Ground Hog Fence, ABC Seal Coating, Happy Kids Dentistry, Treeline Roof Work, Stormie Cleaning, American Family Insurance (Katerra Rowan), and Cornerstone Insurance (Holly Dewey and Jennifer Hall).
Businesses like Farrar's Bistro remind us that thriving communities are built through service, relationships, and a willingness to support one another. It's a recipe that continues to bring people together, both around the table and throughout Southwest Washington.
