How long have you lived in Hershey and what do you like best about it?
I have lived in Hershey for 15 years and love how everything is close to here, including shopping and other great towns.
Can you share a brief overview of your artistic journey and how you discovered your passion for art?
In the 80's I was a Colorist and Designer for a company here in PA. I designed for Sears, Winnie the Pooh and Wilson Sportswear for children. My artistic journey came from that time when I started a hobby with Stained Glass. I wanted to make all kinds of lamps, windows and other fun things. My career then changed from design to being a florist. In between, however, I was making glass pieces for myself and some friends. I was working for a florist here in Hershey, Designs for Cherylanne. Now I am in my 10th year at the same building where the flower shop was on Derry.

Stained Glass, Fused Glass, and Mosaics
Share a bit about your favorite or most memorable artistic project or piece and why it's significant to you.
I do a lot of commissions for people’s private homes. I enjoy doing custom work that makes my clients’ homes full of character and special art installations.
What impact do you hope your work has on others?
I truly hope my art makes my customers happy when it is displayed in their window or someone is giving it as a gift. We also offer fun classes where customers can keep their project.
