Cheering on Others with Spirit and Pride
2026 Nationals
Cheerleading programs, including Hershey High School’s, aspire to be a place for young women to grow as athletes, leaders, scholars, and community representatives. What many see during a game has evolved into a year-round commitment to balancing school, service, and spirit.
Even during the “off-season”, cheerleaders train and lay the foundation for the upcoming season. Team bonds form as older athletes mentor newcomers, and the group works to promote positivity and trust as they prepare for the sidelines and mat.
Summer brings the team together, for UCA Master’s Cheerleading Camp, where sharing a cabin and family-style meals forge lasting memories. The days are long, but the team uses every moment to grow closer and learn how to work through challenges and celebrate small victories. In 2025, that dedication paid off when Hershey Cheer earned UCA’s coveted “Top Banana” award for spirit and sportsmanship!
When the PIAA fall season begins, our cheerleaders prepare to bring full time spirit. They simultaneously serve their community through events like Ben & Tim Day, National Night Out, and Bridge Day! Behind the scenes, and after the fun, these athletes are practicing tirelessly to perfect their competitive routines.
Since launching our competitive program in 2019, Hershey Cheerleading has worked to open doors and create possibilities for the future. That same year, Hershey won its first PIAA District 3 Championship title, and since has earned four bids to the PIAA State Championship. We made our first appearance at the National Cheerleading Championship in 2023 and most recently, secured their bid to Nationals with a first place win at Regionals, and a top 25 placement at Nationals! Every rep, every practice, and every moment that these young women give to this program is echoed through their accomplishments, proving that dedication and hard work are worth it.
Today, Hershey cheerleaders are more than teammates; they are family, leaders, scholars, and proud athletes who represent the spirit of our community.
This program has grown because of the incredible support of our community. To continue creating opportunities for these hardworking athletes, Hershey Cheer is hosting our First Annual Golf Outing at Manada Golf Course on Saturday, April 18th. Your support at this event, or future events, help us ensure that any athlete, regardless of financial background, can be a part of this team.
Your support helps these young women chase their goals and proves success is sweeter when a community stands together.
