The Morgan Family: Farmhouse Friendly on Fishburn

At Home in Hershey

Brad and Laura

There’s something unmistakably special about life in Hershey—and for the Morgan family, it’s a place where roots run deep, community matters, and everyday moments feel a little sweeter.
Brad and Laura Morgan, along with their children Cassidy and Wyatt, have called the area home since 2016, when they purchased and lovingly restored a historic farmhouse, The Fishburn Farmhouse. With Pennsylvania roots stretching from the coal region to the Lehigh Valley, their journey has included time in Lancaster County and even a professional move south before ultimately returning to Hershey to be close to extended family. It’s a full-circle story—one that feels right at home in this close-knit community.
Family is at the heart of everything the Morgans do. Cassidy, 18, is a driven student and accomplished athlete, earning four varsity letters in soccer while balancing her involvement in the National Honor Society, Key Club, and business studies. With a growing interest in pre-law, she’s setting her sights on a Southern SEC university. Seventeen-year-old Wyatt is equally impressive—a three-sport athlete in baseball, basketball, and golf, with additional interests ranging from archery to finance. A devoted baseball fan with dreams of playing at the collegiate level, Wyatt is rarely seen without his beloved Bronco close by.
Rounding out the family are their four-legged companions: Rawlings, a joyful seven-year-old golden retriever; Jaguar, a 13-year-old cat with a bit of attitude and plenty of affection; and Knox, a two-year-old social butterfly with an athletic streak of his own.
Professionally, the Morgans are as accomplished as they are community-minded. Brad is a heavy manufacturing executive based in Lancaster, bringing together a background in materials engineering, business, and an MBA, along with a Lean Six Sigma certification. His interests extend well beyond the office—engineering, real estate, fishing, archery, golf, and baseball all make the list. Laura, meanwhile, is the creative force behind The Shoppe on Chocolate and Laura Morgan Interiors. An entrepreneur, interior designer, and shop owner, she balances her professional passions with her favorite role of all: being a mom. Her love of gardening and home renovation is evident throughout their thoughtfully curated home.
The Morgans are deeply engaged in the Hershey community, supporting and participating in local events and causes such as Kiss Drop, Cocoa Presents, Cocoa Packs, the United Way, and the Hershey Fire Company. They believe strongly in shopping local and supporting small businesses—a philosophy that mirrors the spirit of the town itself.
When they’re not working or cheering from the sidelines, the family enjoys spending time together—whether that means vacations, cozy nights at home playing games, or simply soaking in a Hershey sunset. Favorite local spots include athletic fields, Hershey Country Club, The Chocolate Avenue Grille, Wasabi Bistro, and, of course, The Shoppe on Chocolate.
Ask them about their favorite neighborhood memory, and the answer comes easily: the Kiss Drop in Hershey Square, a moment that captures everything they love about living here—tradition, togetherness, and a strong sense of place.
For the Morgan family, Hershey isn’t just where they live. It’s where they’ve built a life filled with purpose, connection, and heart.
