Pet Photo Contest Winners
The Feline Category

Millie and Murray
Thanks for sending in your favorite pet pictures for the Pet Photo Contest! We've had such a fun time looking at all the entries, and we figured that to give full benefit to the entries, we'd separate the categories so you, too, could enjoy the photos. This month, we're showcasing the Feline Category, and the winner is Sir Charles McSilly Face!
Susie Brusa, Corral de Tierra – Meet Sir Charles McSilly Face. Charlie is 18 lbs. of muscle and is as food-motivated as a Labrador. He is an orange tabby mix from the SPCA and is 8 yrs. old. He makes us laugh every day!
Tina Rotolo, Las Palmas II - Meet Melon Rose. She is a tabby that we rescued as a kitten. She is 3.5 years old. Melon is so special to my partner, Said, and me because she always brings fun and loving energy into our home. She is sassy, fun, and silly! She loves to explore and is extremely outgoing. She loves making new friends and will even greet you at the door!
Jane Sotanski, Las Palmas II - Meet Gracie. We believe she is a French Chartreuse, approximately 15 years old. She showed up in 2012 and chose us after she “interviewed us” for two weeks—until one day, she just jumped in our laps! She has been ours ever since.
Catherine Winter, Toro Hills - Meet Millie and Murray, two tabby cats adopted from the Hitchcock Animal Shelter. Millie is the spotted female. She’s about 1.5 years old. Unfortunately, her older buddy cat, Jasper, is no longer with us. I thought she was getting lonely, and about 4 months ago, we adopted Murray, a striped 6-month-old male tabby, to keep her company. It took some getting used to, but they now get along well. Murray ADORES Millie and always wants to play or be cuddled up with her. Of course, they are also happy to cuddle with us.
