Anthony Mulé
Inspiration Through Adversity

Anthony with his team
Cancer is hard. Playing competitive volleyball is hard. Coming back to play competitive volleyball after a difficult year battling cancer is extremely hard. One year ago, our son, Anthony, was diagnosed with advanced-stage Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
Thank you to the PCAL (Pacific Coast Athletic League) volleyball league coaches and administrators who recognize this hardship and honored Anthony as the first recipient of the PCAL Anthony Mulé Inspiration Award. The award will be given in instances where a player has come through true adversity.
Throughout his whole battle, the support that Anthony has been shown by the volleyball community has been huge. The league teams, players, and coaches have been so supportive, and our family is forever grateful! Go get'em, Anthony!
