Adara McBeth, President
As the Senior Class President, my role is to represent the senior class, leading and organizing all senior activities with the help of our four other officers. I’ve been involved in LHHS leadership since my sophomore year, serving as AVID Sophomore Historian, Junior Year AVID VP of Public Relations, and now AVID President alongside my role as Senior Class President.
This year, I’m most excited about the opportunity to unite my classmates, make everyone feel welcome, and create a memorable senior year for all. My favorite LHHS memory is Friday Night Lights—there’s nothing like going to football games, dressing up for the themes, and making the most of it with friends.
Outside of my duties as president, I’m also involved in the Girls Service League and LHHS Girls Basketball. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow officers to make this the best senior year ever!
Charlotte McMillian, Vice President
As Vice President, I support Adara and the team in organizing and overseeing events like prom, graduation, and fundraising activities. I’ve been involved in leadership roles throughout high school, including serving as Treasurer for Investment Club, a Student Council Leadership Team Member, and Freshman Cheer Captain.
This year, I’m most excited about planning new events that bring the senior class closer together, especially prom. My goal is to enhance class unity and ensure effective communication so that everyone feels connected by graduation.
One of my favorite memories at LHHS is cheering at the homecoming game my freshman year. The energy from the student section was electrifying, and I loved seeing how close the seniors were during their last homecoming together. I’m also involved in NHS, Girls Service League, Cheer, Wranglers, and several other clubs.
Avery Dusek, Secretary
As Secretary, I collaborate with the other officers on fundraising opportunities and help drive participation in on-campus events. Serving at school and in the community has been a priority throughout high school, and I’ve held various roles, including Mu Alpha Theta President, Feed Lake Highlands Teen Board Member, and Club Volleyball Team Captain.
This year, I’m excited to connect students, increase school spirit, and make events like prom more accessible for everyone. My favorite LHHS memory is attending Friday night football games, especially homecoming, which is something I always look forward to.
I’m actively involved in community service through the National Charity League, Feed Lake Highlands, and mission trips to Guatemala. I also love participating in Lake Highlands Younglife activities and hanging out with friends around Lake Highlands.
Ella Gonzales, Treasurer
As Treasurer, I’m responsible for managing all financial aspects of senior activities, including collecting funds, tracking budgets, and ensuring profitable fundraisers. I’ve been involved in LHHS leadership since freshman year, serving in roles such as Vice President of Concert Treble Choir and Treasurer of Treble Chorale Choir.
This year, I’m most excited about planning senior events, dancing during football season, and participating in the winter musical and Espree Show. My goal is to create an inclusive environment where all seniors feel welcome and to leave a lasting legacy.
One of my favorite LHHS memories is this past year’s Espree show, where I got to sing and dance with people who have become like family to me. Outside of Senior Class Officers, I’m involved in the Highlandettes, Espree, NHS, theatre, Mu Apha Theta, and several other clubs.
Nathan Macy, Historian
As Historian, I manage our social media presence and document senior year activities. I’ve previously served as Treasurer of Wildcat Studios AV and will be President this year. I was also Vice President of the Lake Highlands Chapter of Young Men’s Service League (YMSL).
This year, I’m most excited about directing the football Jumbotron production and using video storytelling to engage students and fans, building school spirit through exciting visuals. My goal is to make senior year activities more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
My favorite LHHS memory is winning third place at the UIL state film festival for Documentary. It showed me the power of storytelling, a skill I plan to use to keep seniors informed and engaged throughout the year. I’m also involved in choir, my church, and the Dallas Mustangs Club Swim Team.
