Neighbors of all ages connected at Ed Kellum & Son one December Saturday afternoon, ready for an afternoon of fun celebrating the season with holiday cookie decorating. The competition was fiercely delicious and everyone went home a winner, along with some tasty treats as prizes. 

One of the event's highlights was the opportunity to meet Santa during the cookie-decorating festivity. Witnessing the pure joy on everyone's faces, the warm embraces, and the sparkle in the children's eyes as they shared their wishes with Santa was heartwarming. A huge thanks to Tara Butler and Marc & Mark Group - Fairway Mortgage for generously sponsoring Santa’s appearance.

Mrs. Claus's freshly baked cookies weren't just sweets; they were bites of holiday enchantment. The moments savored while layering the cookies with frosting, candy, sprinkles and more echoed the essence of the season and the kids' (of all ages) creative personalities. A special shout-out to Smallcakes Dallas for providing the delectable cookies, The Board Lady for the Christmas Grazing Charcuterie Boards, and Central Market Midway for the fruit platters that pleased everyone.

But there were more than just cookies, tasty bites, and cherished moments with Santa. Great musical hits infused the gathering with a magical ambiance through their festive tunes. The trio of James, Bowen and Gus, known as the Park Cities DJs, specialize in spinning clean, party-friendly tracks at various events.
