Creative Canvas and Community: A Night of Cube Painting with Emily Herrera
This past summer, we had the pleasure of hosting a delightful evening of creativity and community with our talented Lake Highlands neighbor, Emily Herrera. The event took place at the cozy East Dallas Middle Ground coffee shop, owned by another fantastic Lake Highlands local, Tiffani Kocsis. The night was filled with laughter, creativity, and a sense of community as neighbors came together to explore their artistic side through cube painting.
Emily, known for her incredible artistic talents, guided us through the process of creating our own unique cube masterpieces. She expertly walked around the room, offering personalized tips and teaching us the art of painting from the frontward to the back— a technique that brought our cubes to life. It was inspiring to see each neighbor’s creativity shine, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces to take home and cherish.
The evening was made even more special with delicious bites from The Board Lady, Alicia Duncan, whose tasty treats were the perfect complement to the creative atmosphere. The combination of art, food, and friendship made this event one for the books.
We’re already counting down the days to our next gathering! And be sure to join in Emily’s next art class on October 3 at Dry Sips Bottle Shop. Trust us—you don’t want to miss out on another amazing experience!
