Hello there readers! My name is Hamburger, Hammie for short, and I am an English Bulldog! My family, the Thomases, said that when I was a puppy, my brown paws looked like two chubby hamburger patties, so that is where my name came from! Mrs. Thomas and Mr. Thomas had another English Bulldog before they had kids, and he sadly passed away when the kids were little. They missed having a dog around and last summer, Mrs. Thomas said that Puppies & Yoga Dallas had a litter of bulldog puppies one weekend. They went to the class to play with the puppies, and that’s where they met me!

Something special about me is that when I feel calm and relaxed to the point where I fall asleep, my tongue will stick out of my mouth. When I wake up, it still hangs out of my mouth, and I walk around with it out until I realize that I need to put it back in my mouth. I also love daily walks (the Thomases give me at least 3 a day) and going to White Rock Lake. I also do not have a favorite toy because I just destroy them all!

Sometimes when Mrs. Thomas wants to stop me from climbing onto the couch, she will put a plastic grocery bag on it. This is because I am scared of grocery bags, especially if they

move around because of wind blowing or because of a fan.

Lastly, I am very spoiled. Mrs. Thomas, my mom, has a rule about no pets being on the furniture. But somehow, I always manage to sneak onto the couch and snuggle with my family! And last Christmas, which was my first Christmas, the Thomases drove me around different neighborhoods to see the Christmas lights. Well, that’s all! I hope you enjoyed learning about
