The New Trinity Forest Spine Trail of The Loop Dallas

If you like to run, walk or ride a bike, visit the new Trinity Forest Spine Trail within walking distance of Lakewood! The first phase is now open and connects the Santa Fe Trail at White Rock Lake to the Trinity Forest trail system. The 4-mile north phase is complete and is surrounded by 50 acres of park land with 8 miles of mountain bike trail.

The Trinity Forest Spine Trail was built by a partnership between nonprofit The Loop Dallas and the City of Dallas Park Department. The Loop Dallas is connecting Dallas to Dallas by linking 39 miles of Dallas’ existing trails with 11 miles of  newly built trails, including the Trinity Forest Spine Trail.

The trailhead is located at 1950 Highland Rd, Dallas, TX 75228, parking is free and convenient. But you don’t have to drive to arrive. The trail branches off the Santa Fe Trail so you can walk and ride a bike from the White Rock Lake to the Santa Fe Trail and on to the Trinity Forest Spine Trail. Learn more: theloopdallas.org
