Game On with Pierce Bankler!
Meet 8-year-old Pierce Bankler, a third grader at Lakewood Elementary with a love for sports, science, and adventure. Whether he’s playing flag football, sailing across the water, or exploring new countries, Pierce brings energy and curiosity to everything he does. With dreams of becoming an architect or engineer, he’s already building big ideas—one adventure at a time.
What sports or extracurricular activities do you participate in? Flag football and basketball are my favorites, but I also love golf, tennis, swimming, sailing, waterskiing, snow skiing, driving the boat, and fishing.
Name someone you admire. What makes them special and how have they motivated you? I admire my dad because he works hard and takes care of our family. He makes me laugh, teaches me new things, and plans epic vacations for us. He motivates me to always try my best.
Something unique about me: I’ve already visited four countries—Spain, France, Italy, and Canada!
When I grow up, I want to be... An architect or an engineer because I like building things and solving problems.
What’s your favorite thing to do? Play football or basketball.
If you could be any animal, what would you be? A dog!
What’s your favorite color and why? Dark blue because it’s the color of my favorite sports teams.
Favorite movie/TV show: Top Gun: Maverick
Favorite food: Salmon sashimi.
Favorite place to visit: Spain.
Favorite sports teams: Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, San Antonio Spurs, and FC Barcelona.
Favorite subject in school: Science.
Favorite summer/winter activity: In the summer, I love going to Camp Longhorn, and in the winter, I love snow skiing.
