Exploring Magic and Memory at the Nasher Sculpture Center

The two visiting exhibits I experienced at the Nasher Sculpture Center were Haas Brothers: Moonlight and Sarah Sze.

The Moonlight exhibition included alien-like lamp posts surrounding the center and a cast bronze tree with glass blown strawberries hanging from its branches, while Sarah Sze had three works of art that experimented with image and object as well as how memory forms our perception.

The center is also home to the Patsy and Raymond Nasher collection of modern and contemporary sculpture scattered throughout the center’s garden and indoor exhibitions.

The Nasher Sculpture Center is located on a 2.4-acre site adjacent to the Dallas Museum of Art in the Dallas Arts District at 2001 Flora St, Dallas, TX 75201.
