Run for the Roses… and for Rise

Mark your calendars and dust off your Derby hats — Runway for Rise returns on Saturday, April 25, at The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. Hosted by The Ashford Rise School of Dallas, this annual Kentucky Derby–themed fashion show begins with a welcome reception at 10 a.m., followed by the runway show at 11 a.m. Guests are encouraged to wear their best Derby attire for a festive morning of fashion, fun, and philanthropy — all in support of local children and families.

The Ashford Rise School of Dallas, a program of the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, provides exceptional early education for children ages six months to six years — with and without disabilities — in an inclusive environment. Through comprehensive education, intervention, and therapy during these formative years, Rise ensures each child receives individualized support. Master’s-level educators, along with on-staff speech, occupational, physical, and music therapists, collaborate to meet every student’s unique needs. Events like Runway for Rise directly support families in our community who rely on these services, helping children grow, learn, and thrive alongside their peers. It’s a meaningful opportunity to show up for our neighbors while celebrating a truly special mission.
