In its 47th year, the Lakewood Home Tour, held this past November, 2023, emerged as a triumph, setting new records and solidifying its status as one of Lakewood's premier events. Sponsored by Comerica Bank, the tour showcased six daytime homes, complemented by a bonus seventh Candlelight Tour-only home.

Breaking previous records, the tour witnessed an unprecedented surge in ticket sales, becoming the highest-attended event in the history of the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA (LECPTA) Home Tour, attracting nearly 3,000 attendees from as far as Louisiana and New Mexico.

A notable addition in 2023 was the Lakewood Love Campaign, introducing a local discount card offered by collaborating businesses, echoing the success of Partner's Card. Lakewood Love tumblers, available at each tour home, provided a lasting way for the community to express their affection for Lakewood.

Stephanie Bowen Wright, Vice President of the 2023 Home Tour, attributed this success to a robust social media strategy, media partnerships, and collaborations with local businesses.

Their support, alongside that of the Lakewood community, contributed to a memorable celebration and substantial funds raised for a noble cause. "The success of the Home Tour is a tribute to the dedication of over 350 volunteers who put in countless hours to make the event a memorable community celebration," said Genniva. "Their hard work and commitment resulted in record-breaking funds raised for East Dallas Public Schools, which is a significant achievement.
