Behind the Scenes: White Rock Home Tour 2024 - Building Dreams, Building Community

Staying true to our East Dallas culture, where the spirit of community shines, the 16th annual White Rock Home Tour is gearing up for an extraordinary weekend on April 20-21, 2024. What makes this event truly special is not just the stunning homes on display but the passionate individuals working tirelessly behind the scenes. Let's meet the powerhouse team making it all happen.

Michelle Wright: Project Manager Extraordinaire
In her inaugural year, Michelle wears the hat of Project Manager. Juggling a full-time gig in Commercial Real Estate and three kids, her commitment to securing permits from the City of Dallas adds the crucial structure to this grand event. Michelle, with her heart in the right place, is a testament to making time for causes dear to her heart.

Jessica Stewart Lendvay: Architectural Maven & Chair
Leading for the second year as Chair, Jessica, an architect by profession, brings an eye for design and a heart for community. From finding potential homes for the tour to sharing architectural insights, she plays a pivotal role. With 6-12 hours a week, Jessica dedicates herself to ensuring each home tells a unique story.

Greg Estell: Sponsorship Maestro
In his second year as Sponsorship Chair, Greg Estell's impact on the White Rock Home Tour extends beyond securing record sponsorships. His volunteerism goes deep—on Hexter's SBDM committee and advocating for the new campus. Devoting 20 weekly hours, Greg aligns businesses with the community spirit, ensuring the tour remains a beacon of support for Hexter Elementary.

Kelli McCarthy: Architectural Visionary and Tour Dynamo
As Sponsor Director and Media Relations maestro, Kelli McCarthy blends her background in Commercial Interior Design with a passion for architecture. In 20-30 dedicated weekly hours, Kelli masterminds sponsorships, orchestrates marketing, coordinates photography, and plans sponsor parties. Beyond the immediate tour, she envisions a 3-5 year plan for continuous growth. Kelli's multifaceted role is pivotal, making the White Rock Home Tour a lasting community legacy.

Chanda Rousseau: Project Manager & PTA Dynamo
Chanda, the Project Manager for WRHT 2024, wears many hats - from leading Hexter PTA to coaching youth basketball. Responsible for planning, communication, and fostering teamwork, she dedicates 6 hours a week. A family affair, her husband and daughter actively serve, epitomizing the spirit of volunteerism.

As we anticipate this dazzling home tour, let's not just appreciate the architectural wonders but also celebrate the incredible people working tirelessly to make dreams come true. Mark your calendars, buy your tickets, and join us in thanking these community heroes. The White Rock Home Tour: Building Dreams, Building Community.
