Tell us about how Ozzie came to be apart of the Brown family? Ozzie is our third golden boy because our family loves how affectionate and funny they are! We got Ozzie 2 1/2 years ago.

Is there a story behind Ozzie's name? Brian’s from St. Louis and a huge Cardinals fan, so we named him after Brian’s favorite baseball player.

What are some things you love about Ozzie? Ozzie is a master at stealing the tv remote or our phones for games of chase. We love his “zipper nose” which is a cowlick on his face - some of his littermates have it too. Like most Goldens, Ozzie mirrors his family’s emotions and energy levels. He’s a hyper, silly guy when we are active and he’s a cozy, snuggler when we are relaxing. 

What is Ozzie's favorite pastime? He loves all toys, especially his soccer ball, and he adores playtime with his friends Fletcher, Bob, Ginger and Bo. 

Any funny stories to share? Ozzie has no idea that weighing 100 pounds prevents him from comfortably being a lap dog. He’s on the couch, he’s on the beds, he goes where we go, and his happiness matters. 

What else should we know about Ozzie? He’s the first dog we’ve had with zero fear of fireworks or thunder and his favorite kennel/groomer is Dallas Pet Den. If you say the word “den,” he can’t get in the car fast enough.
