Fletcher Unleashed
A Tail-Wagging Tale of Love and Corny Dog Dreams.
Q: Hi Fletcher, thanks for taking the time to chat with us! Let's start with the basics: where did you come from and what's the story behind your name, Fletcher?
A: Woof! Well, it's a bit of a tale, you see. I was rescued and adopted by my wonderful family in late February 2023. My family loves the State Fair of Texas, and one day, my human decided to name me after the iconic corny dog they serve there!
Q: Any special talents or quirks that make you stand out?
A: Woof! I must say, I'm quite the smarty-paws. When I joined my new family, I already knew all my commands (well, almost all of them... still working on that shake!). And guess what? We even became a certified Therapy Dog team through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Pretty cool, huh?
Q: What do you love most about being part of your family?
A: Woof, woof! I hit the jackpot with my family. They're just so snuggly, and they spoil me rotten. But you know what's even better? They're not destructive like some humans I've heard about.
Q: Do you have a favorite toy or activity?
A: Woof! I've got a whole squad of best friends – Ozzie, Bo, Jinger, Bob, Lucy, Macy, and Sadie. We have the best time playing together! Oh, and don't forget about sticks. Sticks are my jam!
Q: Any funny stories you'd like to share with us?
A: Woof, woof! Well, there was that time I decided to chase our cat, Bunny, up a tree just days after I moved in. Oops! But don't worry, we've worked it out now. She still gives me the side-eye, though.
Q: How spoiled would you say you are?
A: Woof... guilty as charged! I wasn't allowed on the couch at first, but you know how it goes – a little puppy dog eyes here, a cute tilt of the head there... and now, well, let's just say I've claimed my spot!
Q: Thanks for sharing your story with us, Fletcher! Any final woofs of wisdom for our readers?
A: Woof, woof! Just remember, folks: life's too short not to wag your tail and enjoy every moment. And always save room for a good belly rub!
