Blooms and Adventure Await: Exploring the Dallas Arboretum
Discover the beauty of nature and family fun at the Dallas Arboretum, where vibrant gardens, stunning views, and interactive exhibits await visitors of all ages.
Trees, flowers, treats, music, views of White Rock Lake and more! The Dallas Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Rd, Dallas, TX 75218 on 66 acres on the banks of White Rock Lake.
Parking is convenient with parking lots and a parking garage available. I recommend buying tickets in advance, or better yet becoming a member. Members of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden are a source of vital support for our mission to promote the love, knowledge and growth of horticulture in a venue that encourages education and research.
My visit lasted about two hours which gave us plenty of time to see The Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden where my favorites are the Texas Skywalk where you can climb on a web high is the air attached to a treehouse and the High Energy exhibit with all kinds of water toys that sneak in a science lesson. Kids of all ages will enjoy this.
Admission tickets range from $13.00 to $22.00 per person, with an additional $3.00 for those wishing to access the Children’s Garden. Plan your visit today: dallasarboretum.org
