The City of Mill Creek's Tree Lighting Ceremony has been a tradition here for more than 30 years! It started when the now 35' Spruce was newly planted in front of City Hall shortly after it was built in 1989. The tradition has evolved to include the Town Center Parade, which has been delivering Santa and tons of joy to City Hall since 2012. This year, the city is teaming up with the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce to do it again! 

Santa Claus is coming to town on Saturday, December 7th, with the parade starting at 3:30 p.m. at LA Fitness and ending at City Hall. Celebrate with family-friendly activities, live music from the Voices Northwest Choir, a sing-along, photos with Santa & his elves, plus much more. As in years past, Santa will lead the tree-lighting countdown to light up the night with nearly one thousand holiday lights. 

"It's so special to be a part of a community that embraces traditions like these," said Jody Hawkins, Communications, Marketing, & Recreation Manager for the City. "We're so fortunate to have volunteers, community partners, and sponsors who give so generously to make them possible!"
