DeLille En Ville Wows Guests at Our Recent B2B Event
DeLille En Ville recently hosted an unforgettable B2B event for our local Stroll and Greet magazine business partners, who got to experience firsthand DeLille’s new University Village venue, which opened in September 2025. This exciting new space combines everything DeLille offers in Woodinville but in one location with its own culinary focus. Guests can enjoy an inviting dining room with unique spaces for all sizes of gatherings, a Club Room in which to explore curated wine flights paired with artisanal light bites, and an embedded café and bottle shop offering an elevated selection of freshly prepared dishes, artisanal pastries made in house and sourced from Woodinville’s Julien Juliet Artisan Bakers, coffee from Herkimer Coffee, and a thoughtfully curated assortment of DeLille wines to enjoy on-site or at home. In other words, you can begin and end your day here!
Our guests enjoyed some of DeLille’s best reds and whites, including its 2022 D2 Red Blend, 2023 Red Blend (an En Ville Exclusive Wine), 2023 Métier Sauvignon Blanc, and Forget-Me-Not Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine. Pairing perfectly with the wines were the many delectable menu items such as En Ville’s Charcuterie Boards, Pommes Frites with aioli, Crab & Crème Fraiche Dip with chips, Salmon Spread, and an incredible Raw Bar. We thank them for their generosity and fantastic service and are sure our guests will be visiting again soon.
"The venue is a lovely space in a great central location—easy to find, open, and welcoming, which made it simple to move around and connect with different groups. I noticed the staff’s attention to detail in keeping guests’ glasses full, and the food was delightful, with a really wonderful spread. I also really enjoyed meeting new people, hearing their stories, and networking. I love that the magazine focuses on community.” - Mark Rolfs, NorthLight Custom Builders
Delille Cellars was one of the first wineries in Woodinville, founded in 1992 by Jay A. Soloff, Greg Lill, his father Charles Lill, and winemaker Chris Upchurch. “Known for pioneering Bordeaux-style blends using Washington fruit, over the past 30 years DeLille has expanded to include other varietals while remaining anchored to its philosophy of seeking excellence in the cellars,” says Lynne Rowan, Director of Marketing for DeLille. “We source from some of the best vineyards across Washington state and are available both nationwide and internationally.”
Some may remember DeLille’s original tasting room housed within a beautiful chateau-style building on one of the Lill family properties in Woodinville, but in 2019, they relocated to a beautiful new tasting room and offices for their winery operations in Woodinville’s old Redhook Ale Brewery location, adding a restaurant in 2021. When the opportunity to expand to U-Village arose, the company couldn’t wait to bring their elevated food and wine experience to Seattle. Today, their winemaking team consists of Jason Gorski, VP of Winemaking and Viticulture; Nick Bernstein, Winemaker; and Mari Rossi, Assistant Winemaker. “Chef Eric Anderson spearheads the culinary side of things at DeLille En Ville, and is supported by our Kitchen Manager, Heather Hiltl,” says Lynne. The result is a blend of locally sourced French-inspired cuisine, world-class Washington wines, and joy-driven hospitality, creating casually elegant dining experiences meant to be shared.
“Our dining spaces are perfect for events of all types and sizes; we have already hosted several engagement dinners and are looking forward to larger upcoming celebrations in our back dining room, which is best for groups of 40 to 60,” says Erick Armentrout, Head of Restaurant Operations. They also started offering brunch Friday to Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in addition to the lunch and dinner they offer daily. Happy Hour runs from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day. As Lynne points out, “We want to be an extension of your community—that place where you grab your morning coffee, meet up with friends for lunch, or enjoy a special dinner out.” So next time you’re in the area, be sure to stop in. You will likely become a regular!
