Mill Creek Women’s Club Gala
By combining friendship, fun, and service, the Mill Creek Women’s Club not only enriches the lives of its members but also strengthens the broader community, proving that a dedicated group of women can make a lasting difference.
For over forty years, the Mill Creek Women’s Club has brought women together through friendship, shared interests, and a commitment to making a difference in the community. From book clubs, quilting groups, and cooking clubs to social gatherings like bunco, mahjong, and happy hours, the club offers countless ways for members to connect and have fun. Yet beyond these enriching social opportunities, one of the Club’s core missions has always been giving back.
Recently, members came together for their annual fundraising Gala at the Embassy Suites in Lynnwood, a festive evening designed not only to celebrate community but also to support local nonprofits. This year, the club focused its fundraising efforts on three organizations making an impact in Snohomish County: Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, Esther’s Place (Hoff Foundation), and Homage Senior Services.
Through the generosity of Gala attendees and the dedicated efforts of the club’s members and Philanthropy Committee, the event surpassed its fundraising goal—bringing in just over $50,000 to directly support programs for women, seniors, and other vulnerable community members.
