It was a beautiful and hot day for the "3rd Annual Cruise-In Car Show charity event" hosted by Windermere Mill Creek in early August. The event featured delicious food from Las Garnachas food truck, music, cotton candy, a beer garden hosted by Tapped Mill Creek, hourly raffles drawings, dash plaques, trophy awards, and of course, cars!

Enthusiasts and collectors came out in droves to showcase an impressive array of vehicles. From classic muscle cars to sleek modern sports cars, there was something for everyone to admire. Each vehicle had its own story, and owners were eager to share the history and unique features of their prized possessions.

The creativity on display was truly remarkable. Many cars sported fun and eye-catching paint jobs and themes. There were vibrant flames, racing stripes, and even whimsical designs.
Families and friends wandered through the rows of polished vehicles, snapping photos and chatting with the owners. The atmosphere was festive and lively, with music adding to the celebratory vibe.

On-site donations were welcomed, and all proceeds went to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County and the Mill Creek Food Bank and last year the event benefitted the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County. This generous community spirit was evident throughout the day, as attendees not only enjoyed the fantastic cars and entertainment but also contributed to two very worthy causes.

Darren Munson a long-time real estate agent with Windermere Mill Creek reflected on the event and said, “We always enjoy meeting people and throwing a fun, family friendly community event that's also for a good cause!”

Windermere Mill Creek is more than just a host for this fantastic event; they are a pillar of our local community. They consistently step up to support local events like the Wine Walk, Art Walks, and Kid's Fest. Additionally, Windermere regularly features an artist of the month, allowing local artists to hang their art at the Windermere Town Center location. These artists not only get a chance to sell their art but often give back to good causes locally, fostering a strong sense of community and support.

We are truly lucky to have such a great local business in our community. Windermere Mill Creek’s dedication to supporting local events and artists, along with their commitment to charitable causes, makes them an invaluable part of our town.
