Introducing Martin Arriaga
If you’ve enjoyed discovering more about your community in recent issues, you’ve already been reading Martin Arriaga’s work! A Mill Creek resident with a love for community and storytelling, Martin shares what inspires him and why these stories matter.
Martin Arriaga is a Mill Creek resident who loves to celebrate the people and places that make this town so memorable. As a native Washingtonian, he finds inspiration through the state’s balance between vibrant cities and lush green forests. His fascination with the Pacific Northwest fuels his desire to connect with and share its stories with others. His focus is on uncovering the hidden gems shaped by passion, creativity, and hard work. He enjoys writing about local restaurants, small businesses, and the people that make this community shine.
Naturally, this passion led to his joining Greet Mill Creek where he contributes to the magazine’s mission of bringing people together and highlighting the stories that make Mill Creek feel like home. Every city has its rhythm, and Martin believes sharing these stories strengthens the bond between us all. Through his writing, Martin hopes to spark curiosity, build empathy among neighbors, and foster a deep sense of pride for the place we call home. When he’s not writing about what he loves, you can find him exploring the local dining scene, volunteering in Mill Creek, or simply out walking on our beautiful trails.
