Welcome! We Love Serving This Community!

Seattle summers are something special, aren’t they? The long, light-filled days and fresh coastal breezes remind us why we love calling this place home. Whether you're hiking a favorite trail, catching a concert at the Town Center forum, or simply enjoying a scoop of ice cream with friends, we hope you're soaking it all in.

And when you're ready to slow down for a moment, we hope Greet is part of that pause. This issue is filled with the kind of stories that bring our community closer together, from joyful moments to harder ones. Our cover story this month touches on the topic of grief, something we all encounter, yet don’t always talk about. It's an honest, thoughtful piece that explores how we can show up for ourselves and each other through it.

There’s plenty of lightness too, because our young people are busy! From early morning practices to game-day triumphs, the dedication and energy of our local athletes is nothing short of inspiring. This issue highlights the heart, hustle, and team spirit that make our community’s youth sports so special.

As always, thank you for being the reason this magazine exists. Your stories, your support, and your spirit are what fill these pages month after month. Keep the ideas, introductions, and nominations coming, we truly love hearing from you.

Here’s to savoring the rest of summer and staying connected to the incredible community around us.

Your Publisher,
Lindsay Rucker
