Phoebe Wood is taking her next leap from hometown stages to college spotlight status. A standout student, athlete, and artist, Phoebe has spent years lighting up the local performing arts scene, including performances in Miramonte High School productions, while building her foundation as a dancer with Joy in Motion in the Moraga community. There, she discovered her love for contemporary dance (+ ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz)  and grew into both a performer and leader.

Before dance and theatre took center stage, Phoebe was already making waves as a multi-sport athlete. She played soccer, swim/diving, and was known as a basketball standout long before stepping into the spotlight as a performer. That same drive, discipline, and energy continue to shape everything she does today.

Beyond athletics and the arts, Phoebe has been  involved in her community through St. Stephen’s Church in Orinda, where she served as an acolyte for many years. She also spent many Sundays working as a barista after church to help raise money for the youth group, bringing her trademark warmth and positivity to every cup she served. ☕💛

Now, she’s keeping it local and leveling up at Saint Mary’s College of California in Moraga, where she’ll study Dance Science and continue blending athleticism, artistry, and academics into one inspiring journey. From many phases and stages, to campus life, Phoebe is proof that passion, heart, and hard work always stay in motion. 💫
