When my family moved to Moraga, we did so for the same reasons many of you did: outstanding schools, beautiful open space, safe neighborhoods, and a true sense of community.

In February of 2020, I volunteered to coach Campolindo JV Baseball and also joined the Moraga Planning Commission, hoping to give back through my experience in design and construction. Just weeks later, the pandemic changed all of our lives. While much of life stood still, the Planning Commission continued its work. Helping update Moraga's General Plan, Design Guidelines, Housing Element, and supporting public art initiatives gave me a new appreciation for the thoughtful planning that protects what we love while preparing for the future.

That experience inspired me to run for Town Council with a simple goal: to help preserve Moraga's character while planning responsibly for the generations that follow us.

Nearly two years into my term, one lesson has become unmistakably clear: the best decisions happen when residents participate. When you attend meetings, write emails, share your ideas, and respectfully voice your concerns, we listen. Your perspectives shape our discussions and ultimately the decisions we make on behalf of our community.

Moraga's greatest strength has always been its people. Our future won't be defined by any one council member or commission—it will be shaped by neighbors working together, listening to one another, and remaining engaged.
