Since 1985, the Ripon Chiefs Youth Football and Cheer Organization has been a cornerstone of excellence in our community. Now in their second year back in the TVYFL, the Chiefs have made tremendous strides, proving their dedication and talent on and off the field.  

This season, all four football levels advanced to the playoffs, with Junior Varsity and Varsity earning spots in the Super Bowl. The JV team achieved an extraordinary undefeated season, securing the title of 2024 Pacific Super Bowl champions!  

The cheer teams also shined, with the Novice and Varsity teams placing second in their JAMZ competition and the Junior Varsity proudly taking home first place.  

The Chiefs' success is fueled by a dedicated team of volunteer board members, passionate coaches, and hardworking athletes who strive to make this the best football and cheer program in the region.

The Ripon Knights Youth Football and Cheer Organization just wrapped up its 19th season. Its mission is to foster a love for football and cheer by bringing together over 200 youth, 23 dedicated board members, and 48 coaches. Watching these young athletes grow, face challenges, and celebrate victories has made this season unforgettable.  

This year, all three football teams—Novice, JV, and Varsity—reached the playoffs, overcoming tough competition with grit and determination. Meanwhile, the cheer squads delivered standout performances, braving summer heat to energize the crowd every Saturday. Their hard work paid off at the JAMZ Cheer Competition, where all squads placed 1st, and JV earned the Level & JV Champion award for the highest overall score!  

The season runs from May through November. Our football community couldn’t be prouder of the coaches, players, and cheerleaders for their incredible achievements.
