The Ripon Livestock Boosters Club, formed in the late 70s, ensures that Ripon's youth receive a fair price for their 4-H and FFA project animals at the San Joaquin County AgFest Livestock Auction by either buying the animal or supplementing the buyer's price. Their goal is to help these exhibitors cover their expenses and make a modest profit to invest in future projects.

In addition, the Booster Club funds annual scholarships for students in the community pay awards to Ripon exhibitors with champion projects or showmanship wins and makes annual donations to both local FFA chapters and the Ripon 4-H Club.
