Turning Hope Into Action

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, Novara Healthcare is helping families explore new possibilities for brain health and connection.

For the founders of Novara Healthcare, autism awareness is more than a mission—it’s deeply personal.

For Dr. Gabriel Agbanyim and Spree Agbanyim, their journey began the same way it does for many families: with questions. When their son was diagnosed with autism, they entered a world filled with therapies, research, and difficult decisions. As healthcare professionals, Gabriel, a physician, and Spree, a pharmacist, began searching for answers that could help their son feel calmer, communicate more easily, and reach his full potential.

That search eventually led them to MeRT (Magnetic e-Resonance Therapy), a personalized, non-invasive treatment designed to support healthier brain activity. After witnessing meaningful progress in their own son, they felt called to create a place where other families could explore similar possibilities. That vision became Novara Healthcare.

Today, the clinic provides MeRT and TMS therapy, advanced treatments designed to support brain health and help alleviate symptoms associated with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, traumatic brain injury, and cognitive decline. What makes Novara unique is its personalized approach, using EEG brain mapping to understand how each individual's brain functions before developing a tailored treatment plan.

But technology is only part of the story. As parents who have walked the same path as many of the families they serve, Dr. Gabriel and Spree approach every conversation with empathy and understanding. Their mission is to help children and adults achieve better brain health so they can live fuller, more connected lives.

For families navigating an autism diagnosis, Spree offers a message of encouragement: ask questions, stay informed, and remember to care for yourself along the way.“You don’t have to have all the answers right away,” she says. “Your love and advocacy already make you the most important support for your child.”

During Autism Awareness Month, the Agbanyims hope to bring greater understanding and compassion to families in communities like Riverstone—reminding parents that support, information, and hope are always within reach.
