I was looking for somewhere special and unique to host a celebration for a few close friends, and was introduced to two great guys: Daniel Beer and Mark Lamas, owners of a beautiful home in downtown Bakersfield. 

 

Chances are, you’ve driven past this historic gem nestled on the corner of 18th and Myrtle Streets, across from Jastro Park, without realizing its beauty and potential. But let me assure you, this “storybook house” is truly worth knowing about.
