A Spring Evening Well Spent

There’s something about a nice spring evening that just makes everything feel a little more relaxed … a little more connected. And that was exactly the vibe at our March Neighborhood Social – an easygoing night filled with good food, good music, and even better company.

Castle & Cooke welcomed us into Highgate Park at Seven Oaks, giving neighbors a chance to experience their newest model homes in a way that felt more like a gathering than a tour. And honestly, that’s what made it so enjoyable. No pressure, no sales pitch, just a chance to wander, visit, and take it all in at your own pace.

NV Catering brought the flavor with a spread of small bites that somehow kept disappearing (always a good sign), while the wonderful team from Castle & Cooke made sure no wine glass stayed empty for long. Throw in some live music from Sue Laws and Jordan Belades, and suddenly the whole evening had a rhythm to it … one that made you want to stay just a little longer and talk with your friends and neighbors.

One of the best parts? Seeing neighbors arrive on foot or by bike, greeting familiar faces along the way. It felt like the neighborhood showing up for itself. And for those visiting from outside Seven Oaks, it didn’t take long to see the appeal. We overheard more than one say, “We could really see ourselves here,” which might be the most honest review you can get.

All in all, it was one of those nights that reminded us why we love where we live … great people, welcoming spaces, and moments like this that bring it all together.
