Hi, there. My name is Valentina Perez-Andreesen, and I am 2nd grader at St. John’s Lutheran School. 

 

My friends and I have learned through our parents and our school about the importance of giving back, so recently we made a lemonade stand to raise money because we wanted to help kids in Tanzania go to better schools, have good teachers, and get all the school supplies and books they need. 

 

We chose lemonade because it's something kids like us can make and share with people all over the world!  But we also sold cookies, grapes, and bracelets. So far, our stand has made over $16,000 ... yes, sixteen thousand … that we gave as a check to St John’s Lutheran Church to send to Tanzania. 

 

When you buy lemonade from us, not only will it make you happy and refreshed, but you'll also be helping other kids, too. So, while you enjoy your drink, you're also making a difference!
