Coming off a hot finish from the 2024-2025 speech & debate season, Stockdale Forensics hasn’t taken their foot off the pedal. Here’s a recap of their tournaments during the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, in chronological order:

Being one of the larger clubs at Stockdale, one might assume a competitive and cutthroat environment. However, the success of Stockdale students is rooted as much in the program’s culture as in its competitive drive. To perform at the highest level, nationally ranked veteran debaters routinely mentor newer members, fostering an environment where growth is attainable and confidence develops early. As a result, novices are not only succeeding at local tournaments but in many cases advancing to larger competitions. This emphasis on mentorship and preparation has allowed Stockdale to sustain excellence (12x Valley Champions) while continuously developing new talent. 

 

As the season moves into its second half, the program’s early momentum appears to remain consistent. Even amid rigorous schedules, students remain committed to becoming their best and elevating their peers to that same standard. If the first semester is any indication, Stockdale Forensics is positioned to achieve greater success than in previous years and continue to foster a new generation of advocates.
