A Halloweenie Parade Brings the Community Together!
You could say Belcourt Village went a little bark-ers when Hoffmann Hospice and Bolthouse Properties hosted the first-ever Halloweenie Parade this past October! More than 125 pups –and their costumed humans – turned the plaza into a furry, festive runway of pure howl-oween magic.
From superheroes and tacos to Popes (yep, Pup Leo) and pirates, the creativity was off the leash. Prizes were handed out for Best Costume, Best Duo, and Most Talented, but let’s be honest – every pup was a winner in our book. Local vendors and shops kept tails wagging with treats for all (yes, humans too).
The event also shone a light on Hoffmann Hospice’s Pet Therapy Program, where specially trained pets bring comfort and joy to patients and families. If you’re interested in becoming a Pet Therapy Volunteer, please contact Hoffmann’s Volunteer Coordinator at 661.410.1010.
It was a paws-itively perfect evening that proved once again – our community really knows how to have a doggone good time!
