When Jim Burke Ford gave my husband and I the keys to their new Lincoln Aviator for a date night, he immediately had an idea. Since our neighbor, Captain Desmond, is a commercial airline pilot, he insisted we invite him and his wife, Meghan, for a double date.  His reasoning? If we’re driving an Aviator, we should probably bring a real aviator along. 

 
As the designated passenger, I had the best seat in the house to enjoy the experience. The ride was incredibly smooth – honestly one of the smoothest vehicles I’ve ever been in. The cabin was whisper-quiet, the seats were wonderfully comfortable, and the technology made everything feel effortless without being distracting. 

 
We headed to Frugatti’s for a wonderful Italian dinner, and by the time we arrived, everyone was already talking about the car. Even Captain Desmond raved about the gorgeous technology of the car; the Lincoln Aviator certainly lived up to its name. 

 
The evening reminded me that sometimes the journey is just as memorable as the destination. Great friends, great food, and a beautifully designed midsize SUV made for a date night I’ll happily remember.
